for the Environment
Our company aims to create new values through
all our corporate activities such as the purchasing,
storage, distribution, marketing and sales
of NGK/NTK products. The company and its stakeholders
wish to contribute to the protection of the
global environment.
In
order to achieve this goal, we have compiled
an environmental action schedule based on
our environmental policy. Management will
endeavour to continuously develop processes
designed to reduce our impact upon the environment.

Policy
1. To accurately grasp the effect of corporate
activity on the environment, set environmental
objectives and targets. These will be reconsidered
regularly for a continual improvement of the
Environmental Management System (EMS) and
performancefor environmental improvement.
2.
We will abide by laws, regulations, agreements
and other demands we have agreed to concerning
environmental improvements.

Priorities in environmental measures
a) We will endeavour to prevent pollution
in the air, soil and the water.
b) We will promote energy saving.
c) In order to use resources efficiently,
we will promote the reduction of waste and
increase recycling.
d) We will have high concern for the environment
of the stakeholders and the local community.

In order to achieve this environment policy
we will ensure our employees are conversant
with policy and procedures and work towards
achieving our environmental objectives through
day to day activities.
5.
We seek the co-operation of our suppliers
in the implementation of this policy.

EMS based on ISO14001 will be founded and
employed for the whole company.

We will promote control of harmful substances
to the environment, and reduce its use. We
will promote employee education.

We will reduce the energy used as compared
with the fiscal Year 2000 by the end of the
fiscal year 2005.

We will promote reduction and recycling of
industrial waste. We will reduce as compared
with the fiscal year 2000 our Burial quantities
by the end of the fiscal year 2005.

As a member of the local community we will
endeavour to build a relationship with society,
through our environmental improvement. We
will support local environmental improvement.
